Lady Queen: 1 Sheet Rainbow Houndstooth Water Decals

Hello everyone!

It's finally the weekend. How is your day coming along?

My final review for Lady Queen nail art this time around are these colorful rainbow water decals.

Let's take a look!

Color: QJ-LO77

1 full sheet

The small hearts and squares have a solid white background (no undies required). The houndstooth stripes are on a clear background.

Here is my completed sample manicure:

Colors used:
Deborah Lippman Paved Concrete
Kiss Silver Glitter

Final Thoughts?

This sheet of ancient beauty water decals is really cute and colorful. I found decals these helpful. I did find that I had to be careful manipulating the decals or the design could wear off. One packet is roughly two whole manicures or more if you use the decals for just an accent nail.  These decals are great for any feminine elegant nail art.

Overall, water decals are very easy to use if you are new to nail art. The decals can still be moved around if they still wet. This makes placement easier than nail stickers or nail stamping.

How to apply:
  • Paint your base color and let dry.
  • Trim out nail decal with scissors.
  • The excess decal can be cleaned up with a detail brush dipped in acetone after it's on the nail.
  • Immerse in water until the backing is wet.
  • Using wet fingers slide decal off backing and place onto your nail. Or use tweezers to peel off backing.
  • Let dry.
  • Seal with regular top coat.
