Incoco Nail Appliques Review + Giveaway (Sponsored)

Hi everyone!

I'm very happy to review today some 100% real nail polish appliques from Incoco. These appliques come in a wide variety of designs and are great for any nail enthusiast looking for a quick, easy and fabulous manicure. These appliques contain base coat, color and top coat so no need for extra prep.  This is my first time trying this brand of nail strips and I was impressed with the results!

Let's take a look!

I was sent for review three sets: Mirage, Rock On! and Merry & Bright. Each package comes with 16 nail strips total and an instruction guide.  I also received a pamphlet of more of their designs, a nail buffer, nail file and cuticle stick.

The first set I tried was Mirage, a dark purple chevron design.

It was a mild success.  There is bit of a learning curve to apply.  I had a bit of wrinkling after the final application and I had stretched the applique too much causing the design to distort.  Again this was user error not a fault of the product. I'm sure my second try would yield better results.  Also, I'm holding a bottle of top coat as a prop; top coat is not necessary.  A more in depth how to apply can be found on their site, here

Next, I tried Merry & Bright, a red/gold water marble design.

I had a better experience applying this set. I was able to gently stretch out the applique to fit my nail. I was afraid that they would not fit onto my nails since they are longer and I have a high C-curve. They fit beautifully! I can wear this water marble design without the mess of an actual water marble!

I'll have Rock On! to share in a subsequent post.

Final thoughts & availability:

I'll admit I was a little skeptical of these at first.  I previously tried a different brand of nail polish strips and they were thick, broke easy and were hard to stretch to fit onto my nail.  These were different and easier to work with. I was happy that they were able to fit onto my nail.  I recommend these to anyone for an quick and easy manicure. I took me about 10 minutes to apply the first set.

I'd like to add these appliques are 95% dry when they come out of the packaging so any unused portions with dry out and cannot be reused.  Also, they can be removed with regular polish remover. I had no issues removing them.

Incoco real nail polish appliques are available on their site Incoco.com and each set retails for $7.99-$8.99 USD. Please use promo code LIZARD15 at check out for 15% off on your entire purchase!  Offer code expires 03/15/2014.

  4. They have so many cool designs to choose from! I really like the idea of getting the water marble look without all the fuss as well. I like the idea of nail art with minimal effort once you learn how to get the application down. :)
