Zoya Earth Day Exchange 2012: Haul and Swatches

These are the polishes I ordered from this year's Earth Day Exchange promo.

From L to R: Zoya Zuza (2x), Bevin, Maisie, Kimber and Sooki.  Zuza, Bevin and Sooki all got sent to Hooked!

Here are the old polishes I sent back to complete the exchange:

These were old, really old.  Those OPIs were 5 yrs old and could not be restored!

Here are the swatches of the polishes I kept:

Zoya Zuza. 3-coats with topcoat.  Another color that doesn't want to be captured on camera.  A beautiful, aqua blue/turquoise with a hint of silver shimmer.  This polish did stain so double up on base coat or lemons.  Pictured here under artificial lighting.  This is from their Surf 2012 Summer Collection.  I picked out the colors that were most unique from this collection.

Zoya Maisie. 1-coat over my Claire's Drops of Jupiter over black combination.  It made it look really aquatic!  Maisie is a standard green/blue flake in a blue jelly base.

Zoya Kimber.  3-coats with topcoat.  Photographed here under artificial lighting.  You can see the gold shimmer.  Photo not color accurate here.

Kimber is a pink raspberry color with a hint of gold.  It applied beautifully.  This is indirect sunlight.  Color is most accurate here.

The Zoya Earth Day Exchange is a great way to clear out your old dried up polishes in exchange for some great Zoya polishes.  It's also good for anyone interested in trying Zoya for the first time.  You won't be disappointed!  I'm very happy with the polishes I picked out and will continue to participate.

Did you participate this year?  What polishes did you get?

Thanks for reading!
